On Tuesday, June 28, India reported 11,793 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 24 fresh fatalities in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union Health Ministry. The active caseload in the country has reached 96,700 in the last 24 hours, said the ministry. 

With this, the overall caseload of Covid-19 infections in the country has reached 4,34,18,839 and the death toll has climbed to 5,25,047. With the national recovery rate standing at 98.58 percent, the active cases comprise 0.21 percent of the total infections. 

As per the ministry, the nation's daily positivity rate and the weekly positivity rate stand at 2.49 percent and 3.36 percent respectively. 

Pakistan 

In recent days, Pakistan witnessed a surge in fresh Covid-19 cases. As per the data released on Monday, the National Institute of Health, Islamabad (NIH), "over the past 24 hours, the national Covid positivity ratio has increased to 2.58 percent along with 382 fresh cases and two fresh fatalities. 

Mumbai 

In the last 24 hours, Mumbai logged 1,062 fresh cases along with 5 fresh fatalities, as per the data shared by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. 

Delhi 

The national capital logged 628 fresh cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours along with 3 fresh fatalities and 1,011 people recuperating from the disease, as per the state health bulletin.
