On Friday, India reported 3,377 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 60 fresh fatalities in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union Health Ministry. The country's active caseload has reached 17,801 and the total tally of Covid-19 infections has reached 4,30,72,176, said the ministry. 

Death Toll and Total Recoveries 

With 60 fresh fatalities, the death toll in the country has reached 5,23,753 in the last 24 hours, as per the data. The active cases consist of 0.04 percent of the total infections and the recovery rate from Covid-19 in the country stands at 98.74 percent, said the ministry.

With 2,496 recoveries being recorded in the last 24 hours, the total tally of recoveries from Covid-19 in the country has reached 4,25,30,622, the ministry said. The country's daily positivity rate has reached 0.71 percent, while the weekly positivity rate has been recorded at 0.63 percent. 

Punjab 

On Thursday, Punjab registered 27 fresh Covid-19 cases, pushing the total tally of infections in the state to 7,59,538, said the state health bulletin. The death toll remained at 17,748 with zero virus-related fatalities. 

Delhi 

On Thursday, Delhi reported 1,490 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 2 deaths, as per the health bulletin. The positivity rate in the national capital stands at 4.62 percent.
