On Thursday, India registered 3,712 fresh cases of Covid-19 along with 5 fresh fatalities in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union Health Ministry. With this, the total tally of Covid-19 infections in the country has reached 4,31,64,544, said the ministry. The death toll has climbed to 5,24,641, with 5 fresh virus-related fatalities in the last 24 hours, said the ministry.
With 2,584 people recuperating from the disease in the last 24 hours, the recovery rate of the country stands at 98.74 percent. The total tally of recoveries from Covid-19 has climbed to 4,26,20,394, said the ministry.

Daily and Weekly Positivity Rate
The active caseload in the country stands at 19,509, comprising 0.04 percent of the total infections, the data showed. The ministry has reached the nation's daily positivity rate has reached 0.60 percent, while the weekly positivity rate stands at 0.56 percent.
Maharashtra
Maharashtra reported 155 fresh cases of Covid-19, pushing the total infection count in Thane to 7,10,243, said an official. As per the official, these cases were reported on Wednesday. With zero fresh fatality due to Covid-19, the death toll remains unchanged at 11,895, he said.
Delhi
On Wednesday, Delhi registered 368 fresh cases of coronavirus, taking the overall caseload of Covid-19 infections to reach 19,07,264, as per the city's health bulletin. With zero fresh fatality, the death toll in the national capital remains unchanged at 26,210, said the bulletin.
