On Friday, June 3, India logged 4,041 fresh cases of coronavirus along with 10 fresh fatalities and 2,363 recoveries in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union Health Ministry. With 10 fresh fatalities, the overall death toll in the country has reached 5,24,651. The total tally of recoveries has reached 4,26,22,757, said the ministry. The active caseload stands at 21,177. 

In the last 24 hours, 4,25,379 tests have been conducted, said the ministry. With 12,05,840 people getting jabbed in the last 24 hours, the cumulative tally of total vaccinations in the country has reached 1,93,83,72,365, said the ministry. 

On Thursday, Mumbai reported 704 fresh cases of Covid-19, taking the total tally of Covid-19 infections to 10,67,245, as per the health bulletin issued by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). 

In the last 24 hours, Gujarat reported 50 fresh cases of Covid-19, pushing the tally to 12,25,292, said a state government health official. As per the official, with zero fresh fatality in the last 24 hours, the death toll remains unchanged at 10,944. 

On Thursday, Madhya Pradesh reported 25 fresh cases of Covid-19, taking the total tally of infections to 10,42,643, said an official. With zero fresh fatality, the death toll remains unchanged at 10,736, the official said. 

In the last 24 hours, the national capital reported 373 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 2 fresh fatalities and 448 people recovering from the infection, as per the city's health bulletin.
