On Monday, June 06, India logged 4,518 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 9 fresh fatalities and 2,779 people recuperating from the infection in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union Health Ministry. On Sunday, the nation registered 4,270 fresh cases of Covid-19, said the data. 

The active cases comprise 0.06 percent of the total infections, the national recovery rate stands at 98.73 percent, said the ministry. At present, the nation's active caseload stands at 25,782, the ministry said. 

Thane, Maharashtra 

On Monday, an official said that Thane reported 273 fresh cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally of Covid-19 infections to 7,11,115. With zero fresh fatality being recorded in the last 24 hours, the death toll remains unchanged at 11,895, said the official. 

Delhi 

On Sunday, the national capital reported 343 fresh cases of Covid-19 with zero fresh fatality, as per the data shared by the state health department. Delhi's positivity rate stands at 1.91 percent, said the bulletin. 

Karnataka 

On Sunday, Karnataka logged 301 fresh Covid-19 cases along with one fresh fatality, as per the state health department.
