On Saturday, India reported 9,525 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 41 fresh fatalities and 12,875 people recovering from the deadly infection in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union Health Ministry. 

With active cases comprising 0.20 percent, the active caseload currently stands at 87,311, said the ministry.

With the recovery rate standing at 98.62 percent, the total tally of recoveries has climbed to 4,37,83,788 including 12,875 people recovering from the deadly infection in the last 24 hours, as per the data. 

The weekly positivity rate and the daily positivity rate currently stand at 2.80 percent and 2.50 percent respectively, said the data. 

Delhi 

On Friday, the national capital reported 620 new cases of coronavirus along with 2 fresh fatalities. With the positivity rate standing at 3.74 percent, the death toll has climbed to 11,003, said the city's health bulletin. 

Gujarat 

On Friday, Gujarat reported 290 fresh cases of Covid-19 and 2 fresh fatalities, pushing the overall caseload to 12,69,122, said the state health department. 

Mumbai 

On Friday, Mumbai registered 679 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 2 fresh fatalities, as per the data updated by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). 

Maharashtra 

On Friday, Maharashtra reported 1,846 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 4 fresh fatalities, as per the health bulletin.
