On Monday, June 13, India logged more than 8,000 fresh cases at 8,084 fresh cases being recorded in the last 24 hours along with 10 fresh fatalities and 4,592 people recuperating from the viral infection, as per the data updated by the Union Health Ministry.
With this, the death tally due to Covid-19 has climbed to 5,24,771 and the total tally of recoveries has reached 4,26,57,335. The current active caseload in the country stands at 47,995, said the ministry.

The daily positivity rate and the weekly positivity rate of the nation stand at 3.24 percent and 2.21 percent respectively, said the ministry.
Chhattisgarh
On Sunday, Chhattisgarh reported 20 fresh Covid-19 cases, pushing the overall caseload of infections to 11,52,636, said an official. With zero fresh fatality, the death toll remains unchanged at 14,035, the official said.
Sikkim
On Sunday, Sikkim reported 2 fresh cases of coronavirus, pushing the caseload to 39,180, said an official. With zero fresh fatality, the death toll remains unchanged at 453, said the official.
Jammu and Kashmir
On Sunday, Jammu and Kashmir logged 11 fresh Covid-19 cases, pushing the overall caseload to 4,54,348, said an official. As per the sources, with no fresh fatality. the death toll remains unchanged at 4,752.
Delhi
In the last 24 hours, the national capital reported 735 fresh cases of Covid-19 along with 13 deaths,, as per the health bulletin. The positivity rate stands at 4.35 percent, the bulletin said.
