On Tuesday, India has reported 25,404 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the country’s overall coronavirus tally to reach 3,32,89,579, as per the data updated by the ministry of health and family welfare at 9 am. This is the third day in continuation when the daily count of cases has remained below the 30,000-mark. Yesterday, the country has reported 27,254 fresh cases. 

However, 339 more people died due to Covid-19, pushing the death toll to reach 4,43,213, as per the Union Health Ministry's data.

Currently, the number of active cases in the country has been decreased by 12,062 in the last 24 hours. The active case tally now stands at 3,62,207. 

Moreover, in the last 24 hours, 14,30,891 samples were tested for Covid-19, according to ICMR. Under the nationwide vaccination program, 75.22 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far.
