On Thursday, India has registered 18,454 fresh cases along with 160 deaths in the last 24 hours, pushing the caseload to 34,127,450, as per the Union health ministry's data update.
The country has crossed a major milestone of 100 crore (1 billion) mark on Thursday when the number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in the country crossed the 100 crore (1 billion) mark. To mark the completion of administering 100 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses, the largest khadi tricolour in the country, weighing around 1,400 kg, will be displayed at the Red Fort on Thursday, official sources stated.

Thane district's caseload of the Covid-19 has climbed to 5,63,975 after 226 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours. 3 more people died due to the viral disease, pushing the death toll to 11,468.
West Bengal's Covid-19 tally has climbed to 15,82,813 as 867 more people tested positive for the infection on Wednesday, a Health department bulletin said.
Tamil Nadu registered 1,170 fresh Covid-19 infections on Wednesday, pushing the infections count to 26,90,633, whereas the death toll rose to 35,948 with 20 more deaths, a medical bulletin said.
Assam has reported 308 fresh Covid-19 cases, the tally has reached to 6,07,427, as per the bulletin of the National Health Mission.
