India has reported 29,616 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, along with 290 deaths and more than 28,000 recoveries, as per the data updated by Union Health Ministry. Out of 29,616 fresh Covid-19 cases & 290 deaths across India, 17,983 cases and 127 deaths were reported in Kerala, yesterday. 

India's current Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 97.78%, which is the highest since March 2020. With over 28,000 recoveries the total tally of Covid-19 recoveries has climbed to 32,876,319. 

On Friday, the national capital has recorded zero deaths and 24 fresh Covid-19 cases, with a positivity rate dropping to 0.03%, as per  the data shared by state health department. 3 fatalities due to the Covid-19 infection has been reported this month, one each on September 7, 16 and 17. 

The death toll in Delhi stands at 25,085. As per the latest health bulletin, a total of 69,465 tests, including 46,555 RT-PCR and 22,910 rapid antigen tests, were administered in the past 24 hours. The cumulative Covid-19 cases reported in Delhi stood at 14,38,658, while over 14.13 lakh patients have recovered from the disease.
