On Tuesday, India has reported 10,126 new coronavirus cases which is the lowest in 266 days, along with 332 virus-related fatalities. The caseload of recoveries has increased to 3,37,75,086 including 11,982 recoveries in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union health ministry. The recovery rate is currently at 98.25%. At present, there are 1,40,638 active cases in India which is the lowest in 263 days. 

As per Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 9.08 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the country including 59,08,440 doses being administered in the last 24 hours.

Maharashtra's Thane district hs reported 139 new cases of coronavirus taking the infection count to 5,66,687, whereas  two more deaths pushed the fatality count to 11,545, said an official on Tuesday, as per the news agency PTI. 

Meanwhile, the union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands has reported one new case of Covid-19, pushing the tally to 7,665, a health department official said on Tuesday, according to news agency PTI.
