On Saturday, India has reported 10,302 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 276 fresh fatalities and 11,787 recoveries in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by Union Health Ministry.  The fresh cases are 7 per cent lower than yesterday's figure. The active caseload in the country now stands at 1,24,868, which is the lowest in 531 days. Daily positivity rate is at 0.96, less than 2 per cent for last 47 days. 

With fresh cases the Covid-19 case tally has reached to 3,44,99,925. However, with 276 fresh fatalities the death toll has reached to 4,65,349. The number of people who have recuperated from the disease surged to 3,39,09,708 while the case fatality rate was 1.35 per cent, said the ministry. 

On Friday, the health ministry said that the cumulative number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in the country has crossed 115.73 crores. More than 46 lakh (46,31,286) vaccine doses have been administered till 7 pm on Friday.
