On Saturday, India has reported 1,41,986 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 40,895 recoveries, and 285 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the union health ministry. This is the highest number of cases recorded in the last 24 hours since June 2021. The total number of cases has increased to 3,53,67,760. Meanwhile, the country's Omicron tally stands at 3,071 and 1,203 recoveries.
Delhi Weekend Curfew: Guidelines and Restrictions:
- 50 percent employees of private offices will work from home.
- Shops are allowed to open on odd-even basis between 10 am to 8 pm - Establishments will open on alternate days depending on the shop number.
- Private offices work with 50 percent staff between 9 am to 5 pm.
- Offices falling in the exempted category are allowed to function with 100 percent attendance.
- Buses will run at 50 percent capacity, metro will operate 100 percent.
- Only 50 percent seating will be allowed in restaurants from 8 am to 10 pm.
- Bars with 50 percent seating capacity are allowed to open from 12 noon to 10 pm
- Schools, cinema halls, gyms, auditoriums, assembly halls, spas, yoga institutes, entertainment and water parks have been closed in Delhi.
- Only outdoor yoga activities are allowed.
- Night curfew will remain in Delhi from 10 pm to 5 am.
- There will be relaxation for marriage related ceremonies for a maximum of 20 people.
- No restriction on transportation of essential and non-essential items.
- People engaged in essential services will be allowed to work during weekend curfew and night curfew.
- Judges, judicial advocates, staff members of courts, advocates, legal counsel associated with the case will be allowed in the hearing of the case.
- Doctors, nursing staff and other people engaged in medical activities will be exempted from curfew.
- Pregnant women and other patients receiving medical health services will be allowed to go to hospitals with a doctor's prescription.
