On Monday, India has reported 16,051 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, which is the lowest this year, said the data updated by the Union Health Ministry. As per the data, the country has recorded 206 fresh fatalities due to the infection in the last 24 hours. At present, there are 2,02,131 active cases in the country with the recovery standing at 98.33 per cent. The daily positivity rate stands at 1.93 per cent.

Meanwhile, India's Covid recovery tally has reached to 4,21,24,284 with  37,901 recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours. On Sunday, Mumbai and Delhi reported 167 and 570 fresh Covid-19 cases respectively. Delhi also reported four more related deaths.

The ministry said, More than 175.46 cr vaccine doses have been administered so far in the country under Nationwide Vaccination Drive including 1.79 crore booster doses.

Daily positivity rate stands at 1.93% with Weekly Positivity Rate standing at 2.12% in the country. 

Assam 

Assam has reported 13 Covid-19 cases with two fatalities. The state's infection tally has reached to 7,23,949 with death toll standing at 6,631. The number of active cases in the state stands at 515. 

Mizoram 

519 fresh infections have been reported in Mizoram; Active cases stand at 9,919, death toll has reached to 643.
