On Friday, India has reported 1,685 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 83 deaths in the last 24 hours. With 2,499 recoveries in the last 24 hours the caseload of total recoveries has increased to 4,24,78,087. Currently, India's active caseload stands at 21,530, said the ministry. 

As per the data, India's recovery rate is currently at 98.75%. The daily positivity rate has been recorded at 0.24 per cent and the weekly positivity rate at 0.33 per cent, according to the ministry. Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.75%. 

Mizoram 

In the last 24 hours, Mizoram has reported 173 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 1 new death, the positivity rate stands at 15.45%, reported news agency ANI. 

China 

On Thursday, China has reported 1,366 confirmed coronavirus cases, the country's national health authority said on Friday, compared with 2,054 a day earlier. Of the new cases, 1,301 were locally transmitted, the National Health Commission said, versus 2,010 a day earlier, with inputs from Reuters. 

Odisha 

On Thursday, Odisha's Covid-19 tally has reached to 12,87,323 as 38 more people have tested positive for the deadly infection, while one fresh fatality pushed the state's coronavirus death toll to 9,117, said a health bulletin said.
