On Saturday, June 11, the nation reported 8,329 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 10 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union Health Ministry. The active caseload in the country stands at 40,307, said the ministry. With 4,216 recoveries being recorded in the last 24 hours, the total tally of recoveries stands at 4,26,48,308, said the ministry.

The daily positivity rate and the weekly positivity rate stand at 2.41 percent and 1.75 percent respectively. The active cases comprise 0.09 percent of the total cases, while the recovery rate stands at 98.69 percent, said the ministry. 

Tamil Nadu 

On Friday, Tamil Nadu reported 219 fresh cases of coronavirus, taking the total tally of infections to 34,56,916, said the health department. With zero fresh fatality in the last 24 hours, the death toll remains unchanged at 38,025, the department said. 

Telangana 

On Friday, Telangana logged 155 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the overall caseload of the infections to 7,94,184. With zero fresh fatality being reported in the last 24 hours, the death toll remains unchanged at 4,111, as per the health bulletin. 

Delhi 

In the last 24 hours, the national capital reported 655 fresh cases of Covid-19 along with 2 fresh fatalities and 419 recoveries, as per the health department. 

Maharashtra 

On Friday, Maharashtra logged 3,081 fresh Covid-19 cases along with no fresh fatality and 1,323 fresh recoveries. This is the highest ever in the last four months, as per the state health department.
