On Thursday, July 14, India registered 20,139 fresh cases of coronavirus along with 38 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union Health Ministry. The active caseload currently stands at 1,36,076, said the ministry.
As per the data shared by the ministry, so far, 96 percent of India's population received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. However, 87 percent of people have taken the second dose as well.

Singapore
As reported by Reuters, on Wednesday, Singapore reported 16,870 new Covid-19 cases including 892 imported cases and 15,978 local infections along with 3 deaths.
Tamil Nadu
On Tuesday, Tamil Nadu logged 2,280 new cases of coronavirus, taking the caseload to reach 35,06,257. With no fatalities being reported, the death toll remains unchanged at 38,028, said the state's health bulletin. With 2,372 people recovering from the disease in the time frame, the total tally of recoveries in the state has climbed to 34,49,519.
Chhattisgarh
On Wednesday, Chhattisgarh logged 386 new Covid-19 cases with a positivity rate standing at 2.77 percent, the overall tally of infections in the state has climbed to 11,57,290, said the health bulletin. With no fresh fatality being reported in the last 24 hours, the death toll remains unchanged at 14,045, the bulletin said. With 218 people recuperating from the viral infection, the total tally of recoveries in the state stands at 11,41,177, said the bulletin.
Maharashtra
On Wednesday, Maharashtra reported 2,575 new Covid-19 cases along with 3,210 people recovering from the deadly infection and 10 people succumbed to the virus, as per the state's health bulletin. With this, the total cases in the state stand at 16,922. The overall caseload of infections in the state has climbed to 80,10,223. The death toll has reached 1,48,001 and the recovery tally stands at 78,45,300, said the bulletin.
