India registered 35,499 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, taking the total infections to reach 3.19 crore. "India's infection tally reaches to 3,19,69,954, while the death toll climbed to 4,28,309 with 447 fresh fatalities", according to the Union Health Ministry on Monday. 

Active Covid cases have declined to 4.02 lakh in India. Active cases constitute 1.26%of total infections. 39,686 patients recovered in the last 24 hours taking total recoveries so far to over 3.11 crore.The recovery rate has increased to 97.40%. The daily positivity rate is at 2.59%. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has declared Covid-19 positivity rate below 5% to be within the safe zone. 

Vaccination certificate through Whatsapp
