How to live a longer life with successful aging

Living long life is a thought in the mind of everyone but living quality of life is a dream, which can come true by a simple change in your Lifestyle, which will definitely boost chance of living healthier and happierost

Getting older cannot be stopped, but if we age with lots of happiness and fitness, which can be done by just implementing small changes in our lifestyle. Research found that Japanese people have the longest life expectancy (87.5 for women and 81.3 years for men) in the world, which is because of their healthy diet, low alcohol consumption and good Body Mass Index (BMI).

In today’s modern environment, lots of snacks, unhealthy foods, and beverages are consuming without realizing its side-effects in our skin, hair and overall health. The more active, healthy, and fit you are, the better you will feel as you get older. So why not we bring some change in our lifestyle to make our life long, happy, healthy, active and fit.

It is also said that, signs of aging can stay away from you, depends on your lifestyle which includes proper diet, weight and stress level management, and many other activities

Protect your telomerase if you want to slow down aging

Telomerase are the enzymes which help to maintain the length of telomeres present at the end of the chromosome found in your genetic makeup. Telomeres get shorter as you grow older, which is generally due to our lifestyle. To keep the telomeres long, we should change our lifestyle by taking healthy diet like foods rich in antioxidants like vitamin C ( eg. kale) and polyphenols ( eg. dark chocolate) and regular physical activities. 



Maintain Body Weight and Burn Fat

Weight management should be kept on the top of the list, if you want to live longer. People with controlled weight prevent themselves from many diseases like including heart disease and diabetes, whereas those who are overweight or obese, can increase extra years of life, by just changing diet. Struggle in weight control or loss is a common problem, which can be achieved by putting lots of efforts either in the form changing diet to low calorie diet or joining gym or anything like that. But this should be the must in your list, to prevent from many hazards effects. Even hip side weight should also be checked, as research suggest that if the ratio of hip to weight is higher than 0.8, there is an increased risk of heart disease and diabetes. The ratio can be calculated by dividing your waist size by your hip size.

Disciplined Lifestyle

Achieving high conscientious score i.e. hard-working, organized and self-controlled, will in turn influence you personality in terms of body ages, which makes you to live long, happy and healthy, as said in one research

Good Friends and Family-cornerstone of long stay. 

Good friends and family support in individual’s life can really improve the quality of life, which in turn increase many years of one’s life. Strong relationship where you show care and sharing’s, results in release of hormones in the body, which relieve stress. The other big factor is to be in regular contact with family or loved ones. When there is requirement during crisis like illness and someone who is loved ones are around or nearby you, will help to recover soon. These factors really improves the chance of longer life. A study from Johns Hopkins, shows that younger people who support older people also foundd some health benefits.

Power Nap and Enough Good Sleep

Power naps is another very important factor which help to restore alertness, learning ability and performance. Short sleep in the middle of the day is a common practice in the world. One study found that peoples who take power nap occasionally have12% lower coronary mortality ratio and those who take regular nap shows three times lower. Many research found that short sleep might help to live longer. 

Research also found that those who sleep for 6-8 hours have better cardiovascular health, thus help to live longer. Less hour sleep might cause health problems and thus shorten your life 

Mediterranean diet and Calorie restricted Diet for Longer Life

Many research says that people who are on Mediterranean diet i.e. eating fruits, vegetables, fish, whole grains and olive oil, has shown lower risk of heart disease, inflammation and diabetes, which helps people live longer.

Calorie restricted diet on the other hand, help people to live longer and also help to have lower risk of diabetes and cardiovascular health problems. However, some studies have shown negative impact of this diet in few people. Research are going to understand this unclear concept. 

Marriage enhance Long life

Marriage is just not the union of two people but it’s a sharing of different emotions, which help to boost lifespan. Sharing emotional bonding and sexual intimacy, feeling enjoyment of shared resources, emotional assurance, financial stability and protection from being loneliness gives immense pleasure to the couple.  This is just not end but also reminding each other about medicines, showing care towards each other’s health also help in maintaining healthy lifestyle.

Reduced or quitting alcohol consumption is one of the most important tip for increasing many years of your life thus cutting the chance of diseases also. Over use of or regular use of alcohol consumption causes lots of diseases like liver Cirrhosis Cancer Cardiovascular disease etc.
