Thyroid disease is a general term for a medical condition which typically makes hormones that keep body functioning normally. Hypothyroidism is a common condition where the thyroid doesn’t create and release enough thyroid hormone into your bloodstream. Also it feels tiresome, gain weight and reduces tolerance to cold temperatures. Hyperthyroidism is a condition where your thyroid makes and releases high levels of thyroid hormone. Symptoms include a rapid heartbeat, weight loss, increased appetite and anxiety. Thyroid cancer is a growth of cells that starts in the thyroid. It may cause, increasing hoarseness, difficulty in swallowing, swollen lymph nodes, pain in neck and throat etc.

What we eat and how we live have far more significant consequences on our well-being than we can imagine. Not only have people halted the progress of thyroid disorders in their track, but some have also even reversed the issues and are living a healthy life.

Vitamin D is an important factor for overall health particularly strong and healthy bones. It is also possible that people with this disease may have altered health or lifestyle that leads to a low vitamin D state. One of the best vitamins for issues of the thyroid is vitamin B because it plays an important role in red cell metabolism. 

Sugar can lead to inflammation in the body by slowing down the conversation to another thyroid hormone. A sugar-free diet can reduce the chances of bringing the thyroid situation to worsen.

The body uses up more energy to digest whole grains. Oats, brown rice, sprouts, sprouted grain bread and quinoa to rev up your metabolism and help your thyroid gland. Almonds consist of selenium that is a healthy nutrient for the thyroid. It also contains magnesium that helps in the proper functioning of the thyroid gland. 

Flaxseeds are a rich source of fatty acids which are good for the thyroid gland. It also helps in the production of hormones from the thyroid gland. Dairy products such as milk, yogurt, and cheese are high in iodine content which an important mineral in thyroid is functioning. Adequate protein intake Protein-containing food such as meat, fish, eggs, nuts helps to promote the functioning of the thyroid gland and reduce thyroid symptoms. 

No doubt thyroid is fatal but an organized balanced diet can efficiently improve the deteriorating condition of thyroid attack.
