In anticipation of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, an India TV-CNX opinion poll has cast a spotlight on the formidable challenge facing the 'INDIA' bloc, a coalition of 26 opposition parties, in their bid to unseat Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The survey predicts that if the elections were held today, the NDA-BJP alliance would maintain a significant lead, positioning them well ahead of their competitors. This advantage is expected to extend to key states such as Karnataka, Gujarat, Goa, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and several northeastern states, excluding Manipur, reflecting the enduring popularity of Prime Minister Modi and the BJP in these regions.
