11 Killed in the Deadliest Road Crash in Mirzapur as the Brakes of the Truck Big Mac Failed.
Wednesday night, Eleven was killed in a multi-vehicle accident in the Dramandganj of Mirzapur on Wednesday night. The accident happened on the road leading down Dramandganj Valley to the Lasoda region, where a car went out of control and hit the railing.
Mirzapur SP Aparna Rajat Kaushik reported that the brakes of the truck were faulty, and it collided with a truck that was in front of it. The collision led to the trapping of a car between the two trucks, and the following one caught fire upon being hit.
When information reached the police and fire service officials, they were at the scene in a jiffy, and together with the local villagers, they engaged in a rescue mission. The inspection of the site was taken by the district magistrate and superintendent of police themselves.
Traffic is now brought under control, and more legal action is being taken according to the due process. A sad warning of the unsafe highways in India.
