A viral video of a moment of interfaith solidarity in Jaipur has melted the hearts of social media. Hindus of the Hindu-Muslim Ekta Samiti (or Unity Committee) unexpectedly threw rose petals and flowers on thousands of Muslims present at the morning prayers in the Eidgah on Delhi Road on Eid ul-Fitr (March 20-21, 2026).
The procession invited the worshippers, who were on the route to do namaz, presided over by the Chief Qazi of Rajasthan, as a sign of honor, fellowship, and co-existence. Blogs indicate that there are videos of petals falling down the rooftops and other parts and that the participants were smiling and enjoying festive joy.
The video, published on Instagram, YouTube, and X and emphasizing the rich cultural diversity of India with the sometimes simmer, is widely spread. It was applauded by many as a reminder of harmony with each other, and similar goodwill was urged in the Hindu festivals. This dance during Eid festivals strengthens non-violent co-existence and has been hailed to be a good message of love and harmony in the Pink City of Rajasthan.
