WhatsApp, which is owned by Facebook (now Meta), has added a slew of new features this year. More features are on the way for both Android and iOS users, with many of them already testing the WhatsApp Beta version for Android and iOS devices. WhatsApp has received various updates, including the ability to pause and resume voice recordings as well as the addition of additional configurable privacy choices.
According to WaBetaInfo, the features will initially be available to a select group of beta users, with a wider stable version deployment to follow at a later date. According to reports, the messaging app is working on a feature that would allow users to exchange HD photographs without sacrificing quality. Here’s a list of features that may soon make a debut on the WhatsApp application.
HD features
WhatsApp appears to be ready to address the elephant in the room at long last. For a long time, consumers have been clamouring for better photo sharing options. The present photo-sharing option reduces the photo's quality. Users will now be able to share photographs in their original quality thanks to the introduction of WhatsApp HD Photos.
Increased Privacy
WhatsApp is also introducing a new privacy feature that will allow users to choose which contacts will not be able to see their profile image. WhatsApp users now have extra privacy control with the "My Contact except" option. This option may also be available for the features Last Seen and About Status.
Unknown Business Account
Unknown Business Accounts is a new WhatsApp feature that notifies users when an unknown business account contacts them. While this option was always in the app, it has been moved to a better location to provide a better experience and knowledge of who you are chatting with. According to reports, the option will only be available to Android users for the time being.
Voice recording can be paused and resumed.
Users will be able to pause their audio recording in the midst and restart it later using upcoming WhatsApp capabilities. When you aren't able to record the message all at once, this option will come in helpful.
Delete Button Option.
WhatsApp is also rumoured to be considering expanding the message deletion time limit. The corporation is considering extending the time limit before you may "Delete for Everyone" and possibly keeping the window available indefinitely.
