Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent his best wishes to the people of India and the rest of the world on one of the sacred Eid-ul-Fitr days, March 21, 2026. He posted a congratulatory message on X that read: Eid-ul-Fitr wishes. Praise be. May this day continue brotherhood and love everywhere. Wish everybody a happy and healthy life. Eid Mubarak!"
The message was very popular as millions of people throughout the country joined their voices and the festival Eid-ul-Fitr, which is the end of Ramadan, with prayers, feasts, and familial reunions. The regions celebrated after moonrise, with special Eid namaz taking place in the mosques and sweets and pleasures being shared amongst communities.
The words of the song Modi emphasized inequality, kindness, and goodness during the spirit of the festival. He has always taken advantage of this to propagate unity and peace. Because the festival in India is celebrated at different regional times and is dispensed beginning with events happening in the rest of the world, the simple and yet deep wish expressed by the PM is to see every person happy and healthy, coupled with a message of peace and benevolence to everyone. May the Eid Mubarak bring happiness to all.
