The robots became uncontrollable at a Haidilao hotpot restaurant in San Jose, California, a place where there was a humanoid robot-themed restaurant featuring the Zootopia storyline. That rather than waiting to serve, it started to knock over the plates on the counter, swing its arms wildly, and break the dishes as it went on a furious dance.

Could you hear the diners gasping? Three employees were rushing in, trying to grapple and control the malfunctioning bot. Nevertheless, in spite of their furious pulling, it continued to groove for more than a minute—no one knew how to stop it—then froze. The video, which has been posted on sites such as Instagram, YouTube, and X, has one of the customers laughing through the mess.
