A heart-tugging experience of dashcam footage of the Jangaon district in Telangana has been incredibly viral, depicting a young boy known as, allegedly, Anirudh, bursting out on a high-speed highway after him. After a few seconds, a fast-moving car collides with him, throwing the child dramatically a few feet away. The video, which is supposed to have been shot around March 20-22, 2026, has brought a feeling of shock and anger among the netizens.

The accident took place on a high-traffic undivided road on which traffic sometimes travels at excessive speeds. Some say it is due to the absence of decent pedestrian crossings, barricades, and awareness, whereas others attribute it to parental supervision and road rage. Other similar videos have been recorded around the region, such as in Valigonda, Thorrur, and Paladugu, showing that there are constant threats along the highways in Telangana.

The video has led to a heated debate online on the importance of road safety education among children, the stop, look, and listen rule, and the necessity of speed limits, the use of rumble strips, and foot overbridges in the populated areas. The police are investigating it, and the government has been called upon to take action and save lives from such tragedies on the roads in India, which are becoming more and more congested. The netizens are referring to it as a wake-up call to both the drivers and parents.
