Mathura: A daredevil's antics at Mathura Railway Station have sparked rampages of people after video footage against the numerous people was broadcast online, which depicts a local man pulling a realistic snake-like creature tied to a rope all through a busy platform.

The video that was initially posted by Rakesh Kumar (a Mathra-based comic with more than 183k Facebook followers) on his page shows the hysterical way in which passengers responded in panic, running and screaming in terror of the snake possibly being on board the train, causing chaos and mayhem at the busy station.

Slamming the act as extremely irresponsible, netizens were sure that such antics in a densely populated area such as a railway platform could cause a dangerous burden, endangering human life because of likes and clicks.

Railway Seva, the official rail user support handle, came out a little later, claiming that the issue has been placed with higher authority that requires action. The incident also caught the attention of the official history of North Central Railway.

Investigations are underway, and there is a growing clamor to take legal action against the person so that similar harmful HOAs can be prevented in the future.
