US President Donald Trump refused on Friday, categorically declining a cease-fire to the war against Iran that is currently raging, declaring, "I do not want to do a cease-fire. " You do not make a ceasefire because you are literally destroying the other party. He introduced the decimated military of Iran, with no navy, air force, equipment, or leadership left, as the US had been victorious in its triumph.
On the most important blockage of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran, which has cut off global oil supplies, Trump was confident that it would eventually open under a mere military action, which he terms as a "military maneuver." He minimized the dependency of the US on the strait, where he incited other countries such as China and Japan and alliance officials in NATO, whom he termed as cowards since they said they would not provide their aid.
Trump hinted that the US is looking at winding down operations in and around goal achievement, and in the case of non-cooperating allies, Trump took a jab at them due to their inability to provide help during the rising costs of energy prices. The comments raise doubt about the process of de-escalation, as Iran has sworn not to give up even after sustaining suffering.
