Two rapes, 12 hours, two states—the chilling trail of Rahul Meena before the murder in Delhi.

Rahul Meena, the accused, is suspected to have broken into the residence of his neighbor in Alwar at approximately 10:30 PM on Tuesday, beaten her up, sealed her mouth, and raped her before escaping, which was known since a case had been filed against him. 

At around 10 PM, Alwar police were informed about the complaint. Having known that something was going to happen, Meena sold one of his mobile phones and paid for the trip and took a van that took one night to Delhi, reaching his previous employer Kailash Hills' home by early morning. 

At 6:39 AM with a spare key he was used to, which he knew was stored in the house by domestic staff, he walked into the house, knowing that the parents had gone to the gym. With his mobile charger cable, he raped and strangled the 22-year-old aspirant of the UPSC, succeeded in changing clothes, took valuables in a bag, and fled.

The Delhi Police had established 15 teams that covered both Delhi and Rajasthan, and by following an auto-rickshaw he boarded in a getaway, they arrested him after he was hiding in the OYO budget hotel at Dwarka, the same day.
