The Punjab Kings bowler, Yuzvendra Chahal, has once again found himself in hot water after his vape-petting stance inside an aircraft led to it going viral. Chahal was sitting by the window beside Shashank Singh during the Ahmedabad-Hyderabad leg of their trip, which was thought to be A. Singh's travel vlog from his teammate.

In the video, Chahal is seen putting something into his hand, making a vaping motion and then seeing that he has made a puff (slight puff before coughing). The original vlog segment was said to have been edited out later, but screenshots and recordings had already taken off quickly online.

The incident follows the same pattern of another IPL player being embroiled in a vaping episode and spurring a debate on player behavior on planes, barring the less savory of smoking and vaping.

Fans have been split: some backing Chahal for taking risks and not compromising on safety, while some have termed it a prank or a jibe.
