Notably, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha has been given precedence to meet President Droupadi Murmu in the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The meeting is to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan and has already attracted a lot of attention with the political watchers.

Chadha, who is a key leader of AAP in Punjab and Rajya Sabha, will discuss issues that are associated with both issues of national concern and state matters. The series of meetings has elicited concern, notably at the time when there are power plays within AAP between the Delhi and Punjab units.

According to the political analysts, this may be included in a greater strategy before the upcoming electoral battle. The meeting of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann is to be held soon after. Both leaders will be expected to give a brief to the president on matters to do with governance and developmental matters, respectively, in their respective roles. It is being closely monitored in Chandigarh and Delhi.
