The Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann is once again in trouble after opposition parties accused him of coming to the Assembly under the influence of alcohol and gave out a video as evidence. The viral clip also depicts Mann looking unsteady, and the BJP, Congress, and other parties have strongly criticized the clip and sought an explanation.

The leaders of the opposition called the element shameful besides doubting the governance under AAP. They even proposed a medical examination and demanded an explanation. The video has ignited much controversy over social media and the news media.

The supporters of Mann and AAP later removed the allegations as political cases, with the video edited or misleading. They even accused the opposition of slandering the CM in an attempt to conceal their incompetence. No official account by Mann has directly corroborated the allegations yet.

The episode has increased political tensions in Punjab, as demands for accountability are getting louder. This is not the first incident of personal attacks on Mann, but the viral video has added more attention to his leadership and behaviors as a person.
