  • Around 600 acres of land are being transferred to BSF, and it will take around 45 days for their job to finish the completion of the India-Bangladesh border fencing.
  • Immediate rollout of Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) health insurance scheme and other central schemes like PM Vishwakarma, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, and Ujjwala.
  • Initiating the national Census operation in the state as soon as possible.
  • Lenience in the age criteria for those desiring government jobs in the past years but could not avail themselves of the benefit.
  • Facilitating IAS officers, IPS officers, and state officers for training in other states.
  • Adopting Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) instead of using the old IPC/CrPC.

The government has also promised assistance to the families of the dead BJP employees in the violence. The rapid decisions also represent a historic policy change where cooperation between the center and the state and the security and welfare of Bengalis will be enhanced.
