Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has taken rhetoric on Israeli matters to an incredible level by threatening to possibly attack Israel with military action, and he said that he had no reason against doing so. On Sunday, Erdogan called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blind with blood and hate and said, "Had not Pakistan been mediating the war between the US and Iran, we would also have taught Israel a lesson just as we had done in Libya and Karabakh.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry also escalated the war of words by formally calling Netanyahu the Hitler of our time as a result of the supposed crimes in response to Israeli invective and an indictment of Netanyahu and other officials by a Turkish court over the 2025 Gaza flotilla incident.
This heated exchange is against the ongoing activities of Israel in Lebanon and the shaky regional ceasefire after failed US-Iran talks. The Israeli officials struck back with force, with Netanyahu accusing Erdogan of massacring Kurdish citizens and of him being a paper tiger. Analysts consider the threats to be to a great extent mere maneuvers by politicians, but the threats have brought about a lot of tension in the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
