PM of Tamil Nadu Vijay is set to take the oath of chief minister on taking over from U. Thiru Manarayana. Vijay's alliance with D. Kumar to become the new chief minister of Tamil Nadu is set to take place at the oath ceremony in Tamil Nadu tomorrow.
Actor Vijay is set to be sworn in as the next Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in a historic moment in the history of Tamil Nadu politics. The single largest party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), has formed a winning combination with Congress, VCK, CPI, and CPI(M) to earn the comfortable majority of 118 seats.
Vijay has been asked by the governor to set up government. The oath-taking ceremony will take place tomorrow in the Madras University Centenary Auditorium. Alliance ministers, several of whom were top leaders, are also set to be sworn in.
The young TVK is resuming its journey from the status of the people's auxiliary arm to that of a politician. This represents a spectacular start for the emerging TVK, who is making the big step from everyone's care to politician. State supporters are jumping for joy, and massive numbers of supporters will be at the ceremony.
Vijay's clean chit and his youthful charm, as well as his welfare speeches, have helped rise him quickly to the heights of power, political observers say.
