Chennai: The reaction of Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) leader and actor Vijay to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi has become the talk of the town since it went massively viral on social media.

In a video declaration, Vijay said, "I admire both of the leaders of the country, but I am not here to play their politics." The fight is only for the people of Tamil Nadu to work towards development, education, and jobs.

These remarks were after PM Modi commended regional parties over good governance, and Rahul Gandhi criticized indirectly what he termed "celebrity politicians." The composed but resolute reaction of Vijay was followed by enormous applause of fans and other neutrals regardless of party affiliations.

The video has already surpassed 15 million views in a short span of time. A number of them are calling it a classy yet powerful message that demonstrates the political maturity of Vijay. Political experts are of the opinion that this cautious move is assisting TVK to garner ground in the government formation exercise currently on course in Tamil Nadu.
