“As an athlete who was told I was too old, as a woman who was told to know my place, as a mother who wasn’t sure I would live to raise my daughter, I hope you see that for me, it’s about so much more than what the clock says.” - these are the words quoted by Allyson Felix the most decorated women Sprinter with 9 Olympic track and field medals. 

Allyson Felix - The Woman who broke Usain Bolt's record, and is embellished with a nos. of prestigious medals she is considered a symbol of women's power and strength. 

She broke one of Usain Bolt's world record as USA OLYMPIC SPRINTER, Alison Felix Won her 12 Gold medal at the World Championship, with this she broke Bolt's record of Most Medals at the track and field world championships, in simpler words, Felix holds the world championships record – male or female -- with 17 medals, including 12 golds.

what sets her apart is her journey to this achievement, In November 2018, Felix underwent an emergency C- Section operation at 32 weeks of her Pregnancy, to deliver a Baby Girl. But this didn't stop her from winning Gold at Mixed - Gender 4 x 400-meter relay, this was her first tournament as a mother and she rocked it, she was a Mommy On Mission. 

Felix's achievements are well-known, she has won staggering 11 medals in 5 Olympic games, 7 of these Olympics medals are Gold, 3 Silvers, 1 Bronze

Not only this, she was a brand ambassador of Nike and did a lot of promotions for them, they used her in a lot of their stores, and a lot campaigns,  She took a stand for herself when Nike the Famous American multinational Shoe corporation asked her to participate in a female-empowerment ad while negotiating maternity protection with her. She told Time magazine in a new profile that her "stomach dropped" when the company made the request. Her contract with Nike expired in December 2017, and she was pregnant as she negotiated a new deal with the brand. She said Nike offered her a 70% pay cut in the new contract and failed to explicitly support maternity protections she requested in the contract. 

In June 2021, at the Olympic trials, 35-year-old Allyson Felix qualified for the 400-meter individual event by finishing second with a time of 50.02 seconds, her fastest time since July 2017, and the masters' athletics record (35–40 age group). At the 2015 World Championships Felix ran the third leg of the 4 × 400 m relay in a time of 47.72 seconds (2nd fastest ever 4 × 400 m split by any woman and fastest 4 × 400 m split by an American woman). 

Talking about her personal Bests: She Ran 60 m in 7.10 seconds, 100m in just 10.89 seconds, 150 ms in 16.28 seconds, she seems faster than a Falcon, 200 m in 21.69 seconds, 300 seconds in 36.33 seconds, and 400 meters in 49.26 seconds and here she proves she can compete with a cheetah.  

ALLYSON FELIX said 'SAYONARA' TO OLYMPICS this year, Allyson Felix departed the Olympic stage after a record-breaking run of 17 years with no regrets, she announced her retirement this year in the Tokyo Olympics. 

“I’ve given my all to the sport and there’s nothing left on this Olympic stage that I feel like I need to do,” Felix said.  Felix has gone from a quiet teenager with a big smile to an activist and entrepreneur with a big vision.

The sprinter met and defied every lofty expectation of her on the way to setting an impossibly high standard of excellence.
