Team India won the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 second consecutive time by crushing Namibia by 93 runs in the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on February 12, 2026; their largest winning by runs victory in the history of the T20 World Cup. This clinical performance did not only keep Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on February 12, 2026; their largest winning by runs victory in the history of the T20 World Cup. This clinical performance did not only keep India unbeaten but also made them top of Group A with four points and impressive net run rate.

Namibia called the right side of the coin and decided to take the field first so that they could capitalize on initial conditions. Nonetheless, the openers of India put it on fire. Ishan Kishan struck 61 aggressive strokes and made his presence in the center aggressive, as he struck his ground off a fast strike. Hardik Pandya then followed up with his all-round capability by unleashing a rapid 52 off 28 balls, to get India into a strong 209 /9 in 20 overs. Gerhard Erasmus of Namibia was the choice of the bowlers with 4/20 but India middle-order firepower was too strong.

In response Namibia began encouragingly, going to 86/2 at one point and fronted by Jan Frylinck among others. But the spinners of India changed the game around. Varun Chakravarthy was playing a masterclass and had 3/7 in his two overs, destroying the middle order with his changes. Axar Patel contributed 2/20 and Hardik Pandya helped the ball by contributing 2/21. Namibia failed pathetically, beaten out of 116 in 18.2 overs. Namibia had the highest score of 29 by Steenkamp.

Hardik Pandya was duly recognized as the Player of the Match because of his all-round performance that scored 52 runs and 2 wickets which is a superb indicator of the increasing status as a leader in the T20 format. India won the match and this showed the balanced attacking and batting strength even without some star players in the rank.

In doing so, it is with this victory that India would stretch their unbeaten run and is in momentum in the coming February 15 when they will enter New Delhi against their much-hyped match against Pakistan in Colombo. In the case of Namibia, the loss was a bitter experience when dealing with a heavyweight, but it helped to highlight the lack of experience and performance at this level.

With the tournament underway in co-host countries India and Sri Lanka (February 7 to March 8, 2026) the clinical India puts on a show against Namibia: the Men in Blue are on a mission to take home the trophy.
