On May 3, 2026, Sunil Narine became the first player (and the first overseas bowler) to pass 200 wickets with a single franchise. The KKR spinner hit the historic milestone when he sacked Salil Arora in the SRH vs. KKR contest at Hyderabad, giving him a total of 201 wickets in 197 matches.
Currently a KKR loyalist since his debut in 2012, Narine is distinguished by his accomplishment in an era of regular franchise changes. He is also the third bowler to be admitted into the 200-wicket club after Yuzvendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
With figures of 2/31, Narine became the first to bowl out SRH at 165. His unprecedented age, the twist of mystery, and consistency remain his key attributes that make him one of the greatest assets in a T20 game. The Shah Rukh Khan fans and the star himself commemorated the milestone of their timeless star.
