UP government has changed the name of another railway station. Now the name of Jhansi Railway Station has been changed to Veerangana Laxmibai Railway Station. The mandate has been issued after the Central Government approved the proposal to change the name.

Railway station name changed

Three months ago, a proposal was made to the Ministry of Home Affairs that the name of Jhansi railway station should be changed. Now accepting this proposal, the UP government has changed the name of Jhansi railway station to Veerangana Laxmibai railway station. Now the code of the railway station will also be changed. It is being argued on behalf of the government that changing the name of the station can also increase the possibilities of tourism in the area.
