Actress Akanksha Chamola has shared an update on her divorce from actor Gaurav Khanna. In a recent interview, she confirmed that the legal separation is definitely happening but the final papers remain unsigned.
“It is definitely happening. It was happening way before I entered Lock Upp 2. It was happening before Gaurav entered Khatron Ke Khiladi. It is just that we have not been able to find the proper time to sit and sign the documents yet, because of our time clashing, work schedules and everything,” she said.
Akanksha explained that the couple took 18 months to decide that marriage was no longer right for them. They had been living separately for over a year before publicly acknowledging the split. She emphasised there is no bitterness between them and that both continue to communicate. The actress also dismissed rumours that the announcement was made for publicity.
