A video containing reality television star Baseer Ali in an intense physical fight with a paparazzo has gone viral on social media. The incident happened on Sunday night outside the party of Prince Narula in Mumbai attended by several Splitsvilla 16 contestants, including Soundharya Shetty, Zalak Gohil, and Kaira.

The paparazzo has been reported to make sly and vulgar remarks towards the female contestants, which made them feel uncomfortable. Baseer, who was escorting women, challenged the cameraman. The incident got out of hand when the cop allegedly abused Baseer, causing them to get into a fight, during which Baseer grabbed the cop by the neck and hit him.

Security came and stood up between them. The viral video has split the netizens, with some praising Baseer as a savior of the women on this occasion, whereas the rest have criticized him as a violence-laden animal who has attacked the women this time around. There has not been any official complaint yet.

The newest scandal once again puts the limelight on tensions between celebrities and paparazzi in the party scene of Mumbai.
