Actress and former Miss Universe India Urvashi Rautela made a bold fashion statement at the Miss Universe India 2026 grand finale in Jaipur.
Serving as a judge for the third time, she arrived in a striking strapless gown inspired by the Indian national flag. The figure-hugging design featured panels of saffron, white and green that flowed into a dramatic train, complete with Ashoka Chakra elements.
Speaking about the outfit, Urvashi said, “I had said, I am India. So, I truly feel like an India today, and I’m wearing this dress which is inspired by the national flag.”
While many praised the patriotic tribute and her glamorous interpretation, others on social media called the look disrespectful to the national flag. The mixed reactions have left the internet divided.
Urvashi also shared an emotional moment, calling Sushmita Sen her “first guru” as the two shared the stage.
