R Madhavan has shared some interesting facts about his son Vedaant Madhavan, an emerging Indian swimmer, and the rigorous discipline he has been practicing. The actor says he does the exercise that swims around eight hours per day and strictly follows a balanced diet fit for peak performance.
The teenager rises as early as 4 AM in the Brahma Muhurta and trains twice a day, in the morning school, gym classes and pool workouts and in the evening. He usually goes to bed at 8 PM so he can get a good rest.
Vedaant's body is 6'3” and swimmer's built, Madhavan said, adding that even eating is a mindful exercise and a balance. The family moved to Dubai earlier in the year to help him train during the pandemic.
Vedaant is a multiple-time International gold medalist and his passion for the sport shows just how many sacrifices are made by young athletes. Vedaant has been chasing the ultimate goal – an Olympic medal for India – and Madhavan showed his utmost pride and happiness, calling it a tough yet motivating experience for the whole family.
