On Monday, Royal Challengers Bengaluru superstar Virat Kohli was in Vrindavan with his wife Anushka Sharma when his team was taking a break as the team continues to play in the IPL 2026 tournament. News9live: The couple went to Keli Kunj Ashram in the presence of Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj to wish him a happy Akshaya Tritiya.

In a video on the official ashram YouTube channel, Bhajan Marg, Kohli and Anushka were shown sitting in a plain environment in a group of other devotees, listening to the teachings of Premanand Ji Maharaj with a low profile and unnoticed by the rest of the crowd. 

It is a third visit to Vrindavan in the past five months and the second time they have visited and seen it this year, their last visit being in February just after the birthday of their son Akaay. 

Kohli decided to take a spiritual break with a five-day break before the next game of RCB against the Gujarat Titans on April 24.
