On Monday, April 4, India has reported 913 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 1,316 recoveries and 13 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union Health Ministry. The active caseload stands at 12,597 comprising of 0.03 percent of total Covid-19 cases in the country, said the ministry.
With 13 fresh fatalities due to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours, the death toll has climbed to 5,21,358, as per the data. The recovery rate is currently at 98.76 per cent, the ministry said, adding that the daily positivity rate was at 0.24 percent.
After a gap of 715 days, the number of daily fresh cases falls below 1000 with 913 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, said the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Maharashtra's Thane district reports 8 fresh Covid-19 cases
In the last 24 hours, Maharashtra's Thane district has reported 8 fresh cases of Covid-19, pushing the total tally of Covid-19 related infections to 7,08,804, said an official said on Monday.
Delhi records 85 fresh Covid-19 cases
On Sunday, Delhi has recorded 85 fresh cases of Covid-19 along with zero death. The positivity rate in the national capital stands at 0.86 percent, as per the data shared by the city health department.
Mizoram registers 34 fresh cases
On Monday, Mizoram has logged 34 fresh Covid-19 cases, pushing the state's tally to 2,24,788, said a health department official.
