On Saturday, June 25, the nation reported 15,940 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 20 fresh fatalities in the last 24 hours, as per the data uploaded by the Union Health Ministry. With this, the total tally of Covid-19 infections in the country has reached 4,33,78,234, and the death toll has climbed to 5,24,974, as per the ministry. The active caseload stands at 91,779, said the ministry. 

Comprising 0.21 percent of the total infections, the active cases increased by 3,495 in a day, while the recovery rate in the nation stands at 98.58 percent, said the ministry. As per the ministry, the daily positivity rate and the weekly positivity rate stand at 4.39 percent and 3.30 percent respectively. 

Telangana 

On Friday, Telangana reported 493 fresh cases of Covid-19, pushing the overall caseload of the infections to 7,98,125, as per the state's health department. Hyderabad reported 366 fresh cases of the infection. With 219 people recovering from the deadly infection, the total tally of recoveries in the state has reached 7,90,692, as per the health bulletin. 

Delhi 

In the last 24 hours, the national capital reported 1,447 fresh cases of Covid-19 along with one fresh fatality and 1,694 people recovering from the disease, as per the health bulletin. 

Mumbai 

On Friday, Mumbai reported 1,898 fresh cases of Covid-19, as per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
