On Thursday, India registered 2,380 fresh cases along with 56 fresh fatalities, and 1,231 fresh recoveries in the last 24 hours, said the union health ministry in the latest data update. The caseload of active cases in the country has crossed 13,000. With this, the caseload of total recoveries from Covid-19 in the country has climbed to 7,87,387 in the last 24 hours, said the ministry.

Delhi
On Wednesday, the national capital reported 1,009 fresh cases along with 1 fresh fatality, as per the state health bulletin. The positivity rate in Delhi stands at 5.70 percent. The DDMA has mandated the wearing of masks in public places with a fine of Rs. 500 on not wearing.
West Bengal
On Wednesday, the tally of Covid-19 cases in West Bengal has climbed to 20,17,874 with 28 fresh cases, as per the health bulletin. With no fresh fatality, the death toll remains at 21,200, said the bulletin.
Chhattisgarh
Five fresh cases were recorded on Wednesday in Chhattisgarh, said the health department. The caseload of Covid-19 in the state has reached 11,52,225 with the death toll remaining stable at 14,034, said the department, reported PTI.
Tamil Nadu
With 27 fresh cases on Wednesday, the tally of Covid-19 related infections in the state has reached 34,53,351, as per the health department. With no fresh fatality, the death toll remained stable at 38,025, said the department.
Karnataka
61 fresh cases were logged in Karnataka on Wednesday, with no fresh fatality and 49 recoveries, as per the state health bulletin.
