On Wednesday, India has reported 30,615 fresh Covid-19 cases which is 11% higher than yesterday's numbers along with 82,988 recoveries and 514 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union Health Ministry.  The active caseload in the country has reached to 3,70,240, while the daily positivity rate in India has been recorded at 2.45 per cent and the weekly positivity rate at 3.32 per cent, said the ministry. As per the ministry, the total cases have now climbed to 4,27,23,558. 

As per Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 75.42 crore tests have been conducted so far in India, including 12,51,677 tests being conducted in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, a total of 82,988 patients have recovered yesterday and the cumulative tally of recovered patients since the beginning of the pandemic is now at 4,18,43,446, the ministry said. 

Cases in Mizoram 

On Wednesday, Mizoram has reported 1,616 fresh Covid-19 cases and one death in the last 24 hours, informed the state Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR). The state also reported 11,469 active Covid-19 cases.
